The Wave and Loyalty Scheme Terms & Conditions
The Wave is open to customers of our White Claw products whom have registered to join The Wave.
In addition to the terms and conditions linked above, please read these terms carefully before you register for The Wave, as all of these terms will apply to your membership of The Wave and its loyalty scheme. We recommend that you print a copy of these terms for future reference.
We can make changes to, or end, The Wave at any time and you acknowledge that there are certain circumstances where we may need to change or end The Wave (for example, in order to comply with our legal requirements or where it is no longer commercially viable for us to operate The Wave). If we need to make changes to The Wave, we can do so without giving you advance notice. Should The Wave be cancelled, you will be given one month to claim or make use of any rewards available to you on your account.
To be eligible to join The Wave, you must be registered, be aged 18 or over and be resident in the United Kingdom.
You can register to join and become a member of The Wave by either:
Subscribing to receive The Wave's newsletter (via our UK website at https://uk.whiteclaw.com/) which will require your consent to opt in, name, valid email address, date of birth and location, or;
By registering to join The Wave, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not register for The Wave.
As a member of The Wave, you will have access to a variety of benefits and rewards, you just need to have registered to become a member of The Wave.
Benefits may include discounts, early access to product launches in our D2C Store and sweepstakes to win a variety of prizes including event tickets, VIP experiences and merchandise. There may also be sweepstakes solely for customers who have created an account.
The selection of benefits and rewards that you will have access to will depend on your level of participation and engagement with White Claw in the last rolling 12 months. White Claw will be digitally tracking engagement levels, for example by monitoring interaction with emails, The Wave's newsletter, and participation in surveys and sweepstakes.
Benefits may change from time to time, they are subject to availability and if necessary may be substituted by White Claw or a third party supplier.
We reserve the right to withhold benefits due to eligibility. Benefits are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. White Claw reserves the right at any time in its sole discretion to cancel, void, suspend, modify or supersede any of the benefits at any time if it believes that the method to select a benefit recipient is not capable, or is likely not to be capable, of being conducted fairly or as specified within these terms and conditions due to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug, or other technical issue or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of White Claw that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the benefit selection).
We may run sweepstakes as part of The Wave. The terms and conditions applicable to a sweepstake (including the closing date by which all entries must be made) will be provided when the sweepstake is run and you will need to agree to these in order to enter the sweepstake.
Claiming a reward
Once a reward under The Wave has been selected, you will be bound by the terms and conditions of White Claw and/or the third party supplier providing the rewards and you acknowledge that the rewards are dependent on certain factors beyond our control. You are responsible for directly checking and complying with the applicable terms, conditions, and privacy and usage policies and these may be amended or altered by White Claw or the supplier at any time without giving you advance notice.
TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
You can terminate your membership of The Wave immediately at any time by "unsubscribing" from The Wave marketing communications. When you unsubscribe, this will also end your participation in The Wave and its loyalty scheme. When you terminate your membership you cannot access any benefits and rewards, including those that you have already accumulated.
We can end your participation in The Wave if: (i) you have not been active for a period of 2 years, but we will email you in advance to let you know we are doing this and allow you the opportunity to re-engage with The Wave; (ii) you fail in any way to act in accordance with any terms and conditions applicable to The Wave (including where you fail to meet the eligibility requirements); (iii) have abused or tried to abuse The Wave or behaved towards us in a way that we determine is abusive, offensive or involves misconduct (including where you provide false or misleading information to us; or (iv) we believe your account has been tampered with or you are taking part in activities that interfere with the proper running of The Wave in accordance with these terms (for example, interfering with the website to allow members to increase engagement or publishing redemption codes online for multiple usage by individuals). In any of these events, your account may be immediately and permanently closed and you will not be able to access any rewards and offers, including those that you have already accumulated.
HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland
